Wow...they have grown up so fast!

I have skipped my updating blog routine for more than 3 months. Not that I am going into hiatus, but workload seems to drift me away. Nonetheless, the 2 kids at home seems like growing up incredibly fast. Big chubby is reaching 3 years in another 2 more months and small chubby is now 1 year and 4 months old.

Big chubby now sounds like adult when he is talking and can sing many songs if you get him started by showing him DVDs of kid's song. He will retaliate back when we scolded him for some wrongdoings and would sometimes drives you NUT NUT NUT!! We are planning to put him on nursery but not sure if he can cope with that. Let's play by ear then.

Well, for my small chubby, he can't be bad either. He is in his learning stage now and is a fast learner I can say. Small chubby can tell you if he wanted to go down after he rises up in the morning, if he wanted to drink, can call mommy, can call daddy, can tell you if he wanted to poo and of course very greedy if he saw you eating. Comparing with big chubby, he is relatively steady and doesn't throw tantrum often. And yeah..he likes to gives you cheeky smile too if he is in a good mood.

Roadster turbo?

3 weeks ago, my chubbies got their brand new toy car. It's a Roadster Turbo as stated in the car emblem. Can be controlled via remote and self driven but the car internal battery drain out quite fast.

Too bad this car is only single seated else can just chuck both of them and way to go...vvrrooomm!

Small chubby just celebrated his 1yr old b'day recently. Not a grand b'day celebration though. Among those that came just some close friends and relatives. I must say time pass by really fast. And this is the most fun and though times for parents. Fun as they are starting to grab and learn from what they discerned. Though as they will start to rebel and fighting and disobey your words. Well thats part and parcel of a normal childhood. And we are planning for a 3rd baby girl....nah just kidding..hahahah

There nothing much that we fancy, just hoping them to grew up with a healthy physical and mental by God's willing. Way to go brothers! Muacks!

Measles in my Small Chubby

We went to Putrajaya the Hot Air Balloon Event in Putrajaya last 2 week. Aww..I think it was too hot for my small chubby that he came back with fever. On that night itself his fever subsided but then it came back again in the middle of the nigth.

We proceed to send him to Pantai Hospital Cheras and got his blood tested. The results only showed positive for Viral Fever and ruled out the Dengue Fever. Finally the next week, we saw red spots mushrooming all over his body and became more prominent at his face area. My mother said it was Measles and it would practically take few days to emerge.

During this period of time, he was cranky and tend to withdrawn in his mood. The worst part is he doesnt want to feed on water where he is already avoiding milk. Slowly we coaxed him and gave him so bread to munch on and that really slimmed him down.

Smally chubby started recovering and slowly gaining back his momentum to play and eat and sleep soundly as usual. Phew...few weeks back was my Big Chubby with HFM and then now Small Chubby with Measles. Yeap..this will be the part and parcel of kids growing up and be there for them when they need you the most. Hope my 2 chubbies will grow up healthy thru out their years.

Its been more than 1 month since my last post. My chubs is now 2yrs 4 mths old and 11 mths old. 1 week ago, big chubby started to have blisters around his feet and we thought it might due his habit of wandering out of the house at the porch. Then it doubled from 2-4 blisters and keep spread to both of his feet. Doctor then diagnosed it as Hand Foot Mouth Disease. There is no medication for this and will slowly fade off within a week time. His appetite was also affected and tend to be cranky. Luckily he only had a mild fever and that went off the next day.

He is getting better now and have some running nose and inevitable that my small chubby "inherited" his germs and have running nose as well. But both of them is doing fine and sick sick please go away.

Not sure why this year's CNY celebration seems abit sombre.Perhaps its due to the economy crisis that hit us hard last year where majority doesnt seems to get their bonus and increments (me one of them)

But anyway, life still goes ON and hey..I have my kids + wife as my bonus for my whole life. On the 3rd day of CNY we brought them to gugu's house as she invited us over for a makan2 session and low sang. The food was fantastic and the self made low sang was simply amazing.

My big chubby just enjoyed playing her dog and he seems to be the happiest boy in the whole house. Small cuhubby only can crawl around the house and play with his cousin sister. I bet next year CNY would be fun-tastic when both can run and climb and jump...awww...helter-skelter is the best word to describe it.

Small little chubby is now 9 months old. He now can crawl forward. Previously, he only crawl backwards and we think that is funny. He will mumble himself all day long ..baby talk I guess.

I just cant wait any longer to see both of my chubbies to play together. Fighting for toys, bullying each other and so on. But for now, big chubby dont really like to play with his brother. Instead small chubby would laugh when he see his brother doing silly acts and that would just cheer him up and shows that he also cant wait to grow up and play with him.

Wife keeps on saying 2 is enough! I bet if you were me with 2 boys, sure you will be craving for a daughter right? As they said human plan , GOD decide!

I was glad that my big chubby recovered from the viral fever that hit him recently. It took him like almost 1 1/2 weeks to recuperate. He is now back to his norm where he will become mischevious, prankish, playing tricks, cheeky, throwing tantrums and lots more that Dennis The Menace does..hahaha. He is now almost 1 year 11 months

Small chubby is experiencing some runny nose. I suspect he is teething as his saliva is drooling and keep on sucking/eating his finger. Maybe I should apply some honey on his fingers though. We weighed him last 2 weeks and he is now 9.6kg which is obviously the size of a 1 year old dude when small chubby is only 5 months old.Hahah..way to go but we won't put him on diet though. I believe his weight will be leveraged out by his height and his BMI wont be out of range.

With all these recent H1N1 influenze pandemic that hits us, I would pray for a healthy up-growing for my kids and my families!

Big Chubby was sick since last Saturday. Paedi said it was viral fever that caused him to have diarrhea and packed with fever that rocket up to 104 Fahreinheit during that period. The first few nights, we were forced to insert pills thru his anus to bring down his fever with the medications as well. He refused solid foods and lucky he still drinks fluid and milk.

After that the fever subsided and now came the cough and flu in a row. His weight dipped to 14kg from 16 kg and he looks lethargic and not as his usually cheeky and mischievous behaviour. Now we are still monitoring and just feed him with plain congee. I can tell you this week seems like eternity and keep us restless perpetually. Hope my big chubby will have a speedy recovery and back into his own form. Way to go!

The weather is damn hot add up with the haze. Kids get soaked with their pillows while sleeping. I decided to bald both of their heads.

They looked more smart and tidier and of course no more sweating while sleeping. My wife told me after both of them got their botak hair cut they looks almost identical. Like it!

As you can see his neck is quite firm and strong to enable him to sit. He always wanted to tilt his body to sit up. We put him sitting up with his head turning left - right like a CCTV camera scanning for movements. He is strong than he brother. Way to go!

Jun Kyn surpasses the first quarter of his 1 year old. We discerned that he actually behaves differently from his big brother. His timing is accurately sharp on milking time. Later than that, you wil see he cries his heart out. Then he will just doozes of to sleep.

We got him on the scale and is now 8.5kg which the paedi says is overweight but with his height it seems the BMI pretty on the normal track. Thanks for Mommy who is fatty(psst..mommy is now over 85kg!) and Daddy who is tall enough.

My wife told me, small chubby resembles her alot. But when grown up, will look like me. I wonder how she know?? Or maybe she just sin ka. Small chubby is alot darker which makes him look abit bigger in size.

On the recent trip we had him on the scale and it shows 7kg for a 2 months old baby. The paedie told us, his brother is no fight for him in future. Looks like we have a heavy weight tag team over here.

Chubby is like a photocopier machine now. He can imitate what my maid did. Last weekend, I passed him the cloth and the next minute he is like the worker in the Car Washing centre. Then he scramble around to look for the tap water to rinse the cloth. Way to go dude!

I have been wanted to take pictures of both of them together. Both of them really resembles each other as some say. Well, of course. They are brothers..and brothers is forever!

Chubby is very obedient to grab the pacifier and the bottle of water for his little brother each time his brother cries. So sweet of him. But sooner or later I knew they would be fighting for toys, kicking each other, pinching....after all BOYS will be BOYS!

During my childhood, my gap with my brother is like 6 -8 years to my 2nd and elder brother. There is no one for me to fight with. Both of my son , they are like 1 1/2 years apart. Fighting is inevitable. I can't wait to be come a 'referee'

He is almost two months now....goin for his injection soon. I opt for those 3 in 1 booster to reduce the times he being injected. Don't like to see my sons being injected coz can't help when I see them crying. He weighs 5.65 kg during his first month baby checkup. He likes to be carried but I think most babies likes that too.

So bored @home. So decided to head to Carrefour at Peel Road and do some grocery shopping. Need to bring along the maid, else we both can't do a proper shopping(imagine a monkey with you)

Now chubby doesn't like to sit inside the trolley compartment, but he want to stand inside. I just scared he will jump down if we took off our eyes on him. Sometimes I feel he is like a monkey born in Year of Boar and trapped in a human body.Hahahha..this will explain why he is so Hyper Active.

After inside mommy's tummy for 9 months, Chubby's brother(no name yet at the moment) finally came out on 27th April. It was indeed mommy's precious and priceless present that will forever be with us.

In the operation theatre, the doctor keeping on saying its a Fat Boy. After doctor took him out, the nurses told me it was 4.2 kg. To me it is big man. I was preparing to SMS out the happy news to all my buddies, when the nurse to told me your son was a WHOOPING 4.51KG BABY BOY. Hahahah...looks like my wife's gene is really doing its work.The nurse told me that he is the biggest baby this year in Gleneagles Ampang(giving some discount in the bill would help abit..hahahah). He measured 53cm in height and 38cm for his head diameter. Looks like he overtook his big brother with his weight.

I always believe that it is very grateful that your baby is born healthy without any problem/illness difficulties.

Thanks to God for giving my wife a safe delivery where both mommy and baby is super healthy!

Now the headache part is getting a name for him....

Sometimes I really wonder if my son has got this hyperactive hype going on? I can tell you he can sit still even for 10 seconds. He can just walk around the house relentlessly for a good whole day. I find it very hard to control him since mommy is going to due anytime during end of April. So when I am tired or trying to catch something on the screen, I just leave it to the maid to 'over power' him.

Anyway, hope my 2nd child that is coming out won't be that hyper....by the way....I still haven't decided what name for him yet...arrgghh...another task for me.....

We took our Chubby to a barber shop inside Econsave.I actually planned it yesterday but wife said he is soon to take his his nap and afraid it might upset him when the barber doing his job. So finally today we managed to get his hair cut done.

At first it was going to havoc happening, but miracously it went thru smoothly. There were my auntie, her daughter, maid, mommy and me together in the barber shop incase we need to hold his head to let the razor do the work.Hahahah...5 people standing looking at my chubby......

After the hair he look more "notorious" and look even more cheeky. I think after this, we would bring him for a hair cut perhaps every 2 month. And the hair cut cost RM5, which I think its worth coz my chubby look so cuttttteee...now......

Mommy is now very 'chubby'. Why? Because another chubby will come out this early May or end of April 2009. So later my home will be come like playground with 2 chubbies and mommy chubby....a lil head-ache here thinking of that.

Chubby now like to manja with mommy and when sleeping time like to crawl up to mommy's stomach and pretend sleeping on a big booster..hahaha..you will laugh if you see that. And now I believe that some say if the mother is preggie, the child will tend to be more 'sticky' abit.Seems true though. Sometime when I scold him, he will keep quiet and pause for a while then will quickly get to mommy and pretend cry.Hmm....this will be future Dennis The Menace!

I would like to tell my wife that I love her more than anything in the universe as I know getting pregnant for the 2nd time (got 3rd one ok) is not easy but everything will be alright.Maybe sometimes there are times where things go wrong and not work out and moody depression but thats what makes life exciting and be more appreciate towards the end.

At 15 months

Wow!My chubby is now 15 months old. And some say its the best time to play with them around this age. Well...I would say at this age they are like monsters unleashed out!Grr...see this touch that, see that touch this, now you see him now you don't. Amazingly he can withstand sometimes 5-6 hours actively moving around with taking a nap(Need to cut down his sugar intake )

And now when ever he throw tantrum and cry aloud showing his anger and will quickly go to mummy side(sign of mummy manja too much) He will knows if some one is scolding and he will just don't want to lay his eyes on you. Kids are very intelligent nowadays. Hard to outsmart them.

I think we got a long long way to go....Way to go!

At 14 months

Chubby is now happily reached 14 months. He know know how to command us for things he wants. If we feed him food and he wants it again, he will point his finger to it. If we put him on a mattress and as him to sleep, he will lay his body on that mattress showing that he can listen and discern what we wanted to convey to him.

He can walk steadily 10-20 steps before he stumble and walk again. It is kinda funny to see him walk like a drunken cat.hehehe...and tiring too...as I need to walk with him incase he falled face down.Its time to mould him and train him with rotan. But he doesnt seems to be pertubed by this. Gossh...need to be more strict with my chubby, but mommy always said 'so kesian my little B'.........Muacks to my little Chubby

My wife across this booth that shoots baby photo a.k.a studio style earlier in the afternoon and quickly tagged me with my 'model' for the photo session. 4 pictures cost RM48 and thats only in hardcopy. Have to top another Rm20 if you need the soft-copy. Didnt know business was so brisk.

We choose a Cowboy and Beetle costumes for him. The cowboy costume on him was awesome and look like real one too. But when the time for 2nd costumes, he was apparently a lil exhausted from the posing and infront of the hot spotlight. Mind you, I was sweating too as I need to distract his attention to the camera and keep on wiping off his drooling saliva.

Overall it was fun and my wife think the $ is well spent.Hmmm.....but I still its a lil bit pricey though.

Chubby is very very clever now. He knows how to throws tantrum when no one plays with him or when we just dump him in the playpen. Cry till tears come out. Once you carry him up, it dissappear like wind (time for me to utilize rotan to spank him??...)

CHubby chub is very naughty now. He knows when I start take out my phone to take his picture and he will clench his teeth. He will smile till you cant see his eyes. I don't know where he learn this from. And he also got his hair cut last week. He does look cheeky and naughty in his crew cut a.k.a botak head style. I called him Crayon Shin Chan hahahahhaa...

Time really passes by very fast. Chubby is now 1 year old and so does my blog which was created upon his arrival. Not only he is growing, we grow as well from zero knowledge in baby sitting him till now (can say expert already). I can remember when he is just few weeks old, he just blindly stare at us with his mouth wide open. So cute my chubby. Even though when there at nights when he throws tantrum and we didnt get a good night sleep, it doesn't matter coz he is our little chubby and is like a gem to us.

My house is now full of his toys underneath the chair, pampers on the floor, nappies on the sofa and is like a nursery care centre. Whatever it is , every single day is worth living with my chubby chub.

Sometimes I wonder if my chubby is hyperactive or all babies is like that. He can climb up and down, running left and right, kicking in and out and non-stop. Fatigue never exist in his dictionary I guess. Anyway he is still our little chubby chub. Muackss!

Hooray..my chubby is now 10 months old now. He can now do his own baby talk(mumm-mumm-mumm, bubabubabuba etc), flip himself, can stand on holding to something, give me a 5, respond to your voice( we call him chubby, chubby jai, pocoyo, B, baby marcus etc) and drink from the bottle water on his own. But strangely, when he stands he uses his toes just like those ballet dancer.....arrr....dun tell me he want to be a ballet dancer....

We took chubby chub to Sunway Pyramid last Sunday as there was a seminar that talked about infant massage. He was very excited but at the same super duper naughty as well. Looking here and there non-stop and there were times that he will just stares blankly at some people or objects passing through. When we took him to Esquire Kitchen for lunch, he will just play with chopsticks, spoon and whatever rubbish he can find (self entertainment). If he can't get it, he will just warrrrgghhh....(see pics above).......nevertheless...he is still our lil chubby chub...a precious gift from GOD.

Skin Specialist to the rescue!!

Brought chubby chub to Specialist due to his skin problem. Some say is eczema and some say is allergy to cow's milk. This doctor say is milk dermatitis and is due to his saliva that is drooling down and all over his face. Poor chubby, now is all over his neck, ears and above the chest.

Hope will cure my mommy's little B.

Day seems to past by very fast(happy mar). Half a year has gone and another half a year, chubby will be 1 yr old. Now he seems to recognize people around him and will cry if stranger wanna carry him...so cute the chubby crying with his 'labbit' teeth(still havent got any chance to take pics of it). He only wants people to carry him around else he will...warrggghhh...such a notty boy. Only like to bite his teether (the key) very much and its one of its favorite toys and will start to bite like a hamster if u see pics above..hehehe.....

Now baby Marcus is 6 months...he is still the same...refused to drink milk everytime milk is given to him. His face condition is much more better...hope the rashes will not come again. He now got 2 bottom teeth which make him so cute like rabbit..
Everyday when daddy carry him at kam po's house, he lie his head to daddy's shoulder like so manja.He only manja his daddy because he knows that daddy will love him more than anything else in the world..hehehee....

My baby got his first teeth at 5 months plus...hehehehe....no wonder he got fever yesterday....luckily today no more but his body is abit warm now n then. He now likes to be sitted and always put things, whatever he can grab into his mouth and start biting and all his saliva will flow out like water..Nowadays he doesnt like his milk and will tend to push away his milk every nen nen time.He now prefers solid food like rice cereal or baby biscuits. He used to be a chubby baby but now after a month and 9cm longer, he is no longer chubby.

Now his hobby is to put his hand in his mouth and start to dig and dig. While doing this, his saliva will drip continously and smeared all over his chubby face.

He now knows how to 'swim'. He can turn to his side and then tilt up his big head. After doing this, he will look around for few minutes...then when he wanted to forward and fail to do that, he will start to cry. His can only move in the same place as his big belly is preventing him from doing that.

It's been a long long time since i update my baby's status... :) bz working ma....Well....my baby is almost 5 months old (April 6) and he is already 9.4 kg and 68cm long. According to doctor, this size belongs to a one yr old toddler....hmmm,......well...he got my genes... :P he is not overweight but he is big in size.. he cannot turn yet...can almost sit but not yet stable...like to jump when u hold him to stand.Like to put things to his mouth especially his fingers and his beloved keys...heheheOne thing that bothers the most is his face and skin condition..it's something like enzyma but his face get worsen when he comes home during the weekend...why??? we've been to 2 doctors but still the same...i hope his face is going to be alright soon..
